How to make a perfect Perth afternoon 🍋

1 crisp black-and-white facade
A sparkling pool, framed in glass
A generous lawn (shoes optional)
An alfresco ready for guests
A sprinkle of golden hour
Mix well. Repeat daily.

Hot take: the kitchen deserves the best view in the house. 🌊
Skylights above, ocean glimpses ahead, and a stone island worth the climb.

Morning commute: bed ➡️ pool.
Distance: about 10 steps.
Traffic: none. 🏊‍♂️
Honestly, the best commute in Perth.

Same bathroom essentials. Completely different feeling. ✨

It’s not about adding more. It’s about where every line, edge and junction lands.

⚠️ Warning: build a home like this and your kids may never move out.

Pool. Pizza oven. Outdoor kitchen. Doors that open the whole living space to the alfresco. Honestly, we’d stay too. ☀️

Hi, we’re Dorrington Homes, and stone cladding is our love language. 🌻
No regrets.

No matter how big the house, everyone ends up in the kitchen. 🥂

So we make it the centrepiece. Open to living, connected to dining, with a scullery behind the scenes to keep the main stage looking its best.

The best lighting is the kind you feel before you notice. 🤍

Diffused natural light, warm brushed brass and stone that changes with the time of day. Thoughtful details from our Carine build.
